Is travelling and driving your thing? Then I know the perfect place for you to visit.
17-Mile Drive, California is a scenic road through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula in California, much of which hugs the Pacific coastline and passes famous golf courses, mansions and scenic attractions, including the Lone Cypress, Bird Rock and the 5,300-acre Del Monte Forest of Monterey Cypress trees. One has to pay a toll to use this road.
With golf course on one side and sea shore on the other of this drive, its heaven on Earth. One can either prefer to drive this route in a car or a motor bike or be a little adventurous and choose to ride a bicycle instead.
All along the drive there were spots where one could stop their car to sit and relax and admire the view or click pictures. I even had seen some birds, sea lions and squirrels during my trip. I had also seen so many bikers with their Harley Davidson enjoy the strong winds on their bikes with leather jackets and gloves.
The drive had a breath taking view with the Bixby Bridge along the route. There were strong winds and loud noise of the waves yet this drive provided me with a place to calm down and rejuvenate.
